ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Arizona Association for Foster and Adoptive Parents was founded in 2003 to serve the foster, adoptive and kinship families who care for Arizona's most vulnerable children.  Board members are all volunteers, and all foster, kinship and adoptive parents.  Our Executive Director is also an adoptive parent.

Our work empowers foster, kinship and adoptive families with information, connects them to each other, and supports them in being heard as a voice of advocacy for continuous improvements in the State's child welfare system.

We bring together families in your local communities for support, education and and empowerment through connecting them to various services provided by the Association.  This includes our annual bike and toy drives.

AZAFAP is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.  In accordance with the internal revenue service code, your generous donations may be tax deductible or even available for a ARIZONA FOSTER CARE CHARITABLE TAX CREDIT (see the donate tab for more details).
